We were all born with prosperity consciousness, there are no
exceptions.
Any amount of lack, or not quite enough, was something we
learned along the way.
Through messages we heard on tv, comments from our parents
and teachers, and just our own conclusions we came up with
as we wittnessed different events.
However, your prosperity consciousness is still inside you, it
is just hidden underneath all the programming, beliefs, and
stories you have accumulated over the years.
Everything you need to create a life full of abundance, joy, and
success is already within you — you just have to learn how to
mentally tap into it before it shows in in your reality.
How do you do that?
1 – What do you want? Get crystal clear about what it is
you want. You want it to include every last detail you can
think of – where you are, who you are with, what you are
wearing etc.
Once you are crystal clear, determine how you will feel once
you have the thing you want. Imagine it has just happened
and you are thrilled… how are you feeling.
Do what ever you can to enjoy that feeling NOW. If having
your dream would make you shout with joy then get yourself
so pumped up that you are shouting with joy NOW.
2 – What logical step can you take? You have to tell the
Universe that you are serious and have to take action towards
what it is you want.
Energy has to be in motion for it to pick up speed. Let’s say
you want a new house – start looking at for sale listings,
imagine arranging your new home, go visit open houses – take
action towards what it is you want.
As long as you stay in motion, and keep taking the next logical
step towards your dream, another step will occur to you that
you should take.
3 – Remove the resistance. This is the tricky part, but it is
the part that blocks your dreams from happening.
Resistance can be in the form of limiting beliefs, fear, worry,
self sabatoge, and counter intentions. Counter intentions are
the beliefs and thoughts we have that make having our dreams
too scary.
Lets say you want to be a famous romantic author, yet you are
worried what people will think of you. This conflict is a
counter intention – you want something yet you stop
yourself because the conflict is greater than the desire. You
have a greater intention at work – the desire to not look
foolish.
Your homework:
Do steps the steps outlined above and notice what thoughts or
self sabatoging behaviors are showing up at step 2.
-> What thoughts are you having that is in conflict with what you
want?
-> What step could you take that are you avoiding?
This is your resistance showing up. It shows you what aspects
of yourself you need to work on so that your dreams can come
to be reality.
You have to decide if having your dreams is worth taking the
time to disolve the conflicts, beliefs, and resistance, you have.
Sometimes it seems scary to open up and face our internal fears,
but more often than not, it isn’t as scary as it seems.
“Having a dream you don’t pursue is like buying an ice-cream
cone and watching it melt all over your hand.” ~ Frank Papasso
